About Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Our Extraordinary Ministers have a great responsibility to be true disciples of Jesus.  They are expected to be active participants of the Catholic Church in the following ways: 

Mass:

The ministers distribute the Holy Communion with the Pastor at Mass. 

Shut In Ministry:

Ministers are responsible for contacting Parishioners who are homebound to bring them Holy Communion Monthly.

Hospital / Convalescent Ministry:

Ministers distribute Holy Communion to hospital patients on a rotating basis once or twice a month.  Hospital training is required and coordinated by Bristol Hospital.
